When all the aspects of nature becomes god and worshipping the way of life, when each cord connecting to life becomes a reason to celebrate, where each relationship holds a sacred value to become a festival, when there are innumerable tales to be told in the disguise of celebrations… Then it has to be our India..Where life itself is a reason to celebrate!

For me motherland is a place where i find solace of belongingness. Ironically at the same time I wish there were no lines to divide our world. but then there must have been strong territorial instincts or a need to be identified with and to represent certain cultures and geographical space which differentiates us. That’s why each country in our world has its own unique flavour.

I feel fortunate that I am an Indian and always feel proud of our ancient wisdom and rich cultural heritage. During my abroad visits this emotion becomes even stronger and I feel a piece of my country is always breathing inside me whether I am there or not.
This commissioned work is customised and recreated form of my old work for a client settled in Australia who I believe has the same ethos…the very reason for him to get this particular work recreated.
