Goddess of Autumn

Autumn knows a mother’s heart, it gives and lets go. A season which shows change can be beautiful. As transitions are part of life, allowing for perpetual renewal when I watch falling leaves, I witness past leaving me leaf by leaf!

The clouds melt into the sky
Freshly washed world of red and gold
Sparkles in the sun
Calm brush of the breeze
Spell of the swirling leaves
Falling from the fluttering autumn trees
Change comes with the assurance
Before the winter covers the skin
Autumn will stay in a nook
To warm your heart
And to lull the soul into rest!
